Kenneth Neely

Kenneth Neely is a visual storyteller that uses photography and mixed media paintings to tell the rich, and often complex, stories of people of color. He is fueled by LOVE, passion, God-given talent and over 20 years of experience.

He has had his work included in several exhibits including “Picturing the City: Downtown Pittsburgh” with the Heinz Endowment at The Carnegie Museum of Art; and “Welcome to Pittsburgh” at Boom Concepts Gallery in Garfield. His additional gift is teaching art and uncovering the artistic talent that children inherently have. He has worked with children for over 10 years and he currently serves as the resident artist, at The Mount Ararat Community Activity Center, where he teaches art to children between the ages of three and fourteen.

Kenneth’s long-term project is the continued documentation of the ever changing city of Pittsburgh through his “Welcome to Pittsburgh” portfolio.
