PBMF’s Hurricane Relief Fund for St. Croix

The Pittsburgh Media Federation is helping board member Olga George raise hurricane relief funds for her homeland, St. Croix, which is part of the U.S. Virgin Islands.  Hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated the Virgin Islands in September 2017. PBMF Seeks Candidates for Board Offices

The Pittsburgh Black Media Federation will hold elections for board officers Nov. 16, 2017.   Five offices will be up for election: president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and parliamentarian.  To see the election rules and deadlines, and submit a candidate’s statement, click here.

Pittsburgh Black Media Federation Laments Sheridan Broadcasting Job Cuts

PITTSBURGH (Aug. 30, 2017) — The Pittsburgh Black Media Federation is disheartened by Sheridan Broadcasting Networks’ elimination of its national news and sports divisions, which resulted in the loss of 11 jobs Tuesday.  Read the full statement here.

“AMERICAN HEROES: THE HOMEWOOD PROJECT”
