The Pittsburgh Black Media Federation’s Holiday Brunch & Coat Drive is SOLD OUT!  Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket.  Attendees will enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet in our private room at Walnut Grill in Waterworks Mall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.  We’ll also be collecting new and gently used coats and winter accessories to donate more »

PBMF’s Statement on Death of Regis Bobonis Sr.

PBMF mourns the loss of Regis Bobonis Sr., a trailblazing journalist.  A former editor at the Pittsburgh Courier, he also was the first black news reporter at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the first black news reporter for WIIC, now WPXI.  Bobonis was the founder of the Tuskegee Airmen Memorial of the Greater Pittsburgh Region.
