Soul Café Set for Sept. 26

The Pittsburgh Black Media Federation’s 2015 Soul Café is set for Sept. 26.  The annual event brings out Pittsburgh’s finest musicians and spoken-word artists.  The Soul Café, which is a college scholarship fundraiser, also includes a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres and an after-glow mixer.  For more information, click here.

Congratulations to PBMF’s 2015 Frank Bolden Urban Journalism Workshop Graduates

  PBMF congratulates the 24 graduates of its 32nd annual Frank Bolden Urban Journalism Workshop for teens.  During the workshop, which took place Aug. 1-8 at Point Park University, students produced projects in print, online, photo, radio and television journalism.  Check out their work here.

PBMF Wins Professional Chapter of the Year Award
